The International Business Network has been established under the auspices of the ESBG, the voice of savings and regionally oriented retail banks in Europe. ESBG members have a strong tradition of socially responsible banking and represent about one third of the retail banking market in Europe with total assets of EUR 6,000 billion (1 January 2009).
